About the lines in your face, delightful love.
"Here’s to my love! (drinks the poison) O true apothecary,
Thy drugs are quick. Thus with a kiss I die."
Romeo and Juliet, Shakespeare.
Love the beauty of youth, and yet, its decay,
Then the soft morning petals of a red rose
Falling to the ground as she slowly sways
Would seem as beautiful as your first love.
Once passion named herself as o' a bloody tone
Then she wore pale drops of a dying fragrance.
Her remembrance is engraved in her own tomb
Repeating quietly, 'life's but a glance'.
Death, the final embrace of a passing lover!
Take me slowly to the gates of a cruel bliss
As life's but a glance of nights and wonders
Which I seal with a righteous and lovely kiss.
