Along a beach...
"She walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;"
- Lord Byron.
Along a beach, she walked alone
Among the sand, under the moon.
Despite her footsteps are now gone
Lost in the sea and misty gloom
I still can hear her beauty's song
In the breeze, it lingers on.
Along a beach, she walked alone
And let her eye to be a star.
Despite that night is now done
In my memories, it's not so far
When I deem'd to feel her cheek
Next to my fingers and my lip.
What must I do to have you near
If you don't want to feel me too?
I roam endlessly above all fears
To stand inside the dreams of you.
And so I stand and still my dear
Through the nights of lone songs,
I sing my poems you could not hear:
Along your beach, I walk alone.
